Help for Field Day chairs and operators using Sked Sheet to run the site board, the operator rota, QSO logging and the bonus sheet.
Open Events and plan your ARRL Field Day or Winter Field Day. Official weekends and start times are filled in. Then add your stations in Setup and your operators under Rota → Operators. When you are ready, delete the practice run from Events, or use Setup → Erase all events and operators to start from nothing.
Phone contacts count 1 point, CW and digital count 2. The total is multiplied by the power multiplier for your power level, then bonus points are added. Winter Field Day also multiplies by the number of band and mode pairs worked. Always check the official rules before submitting.
Sked Sheet compares each operator's licence class with the band and mode of the station. A Technician on 20m, or on 40m phone, needs a General or higher control operator present. GOTA stations are never flagged because they always run with a coach.
Turn on the bell in the Rota, allow notifications when iOS asks, and check that Sked Sheet is allowed in the iOS Settings app under Notifications. Reminders are scheduled on the device that turned them on.
Solar flux and K-index come from NOAA and need a connection. With no signal the board shows placeholders; tap the refresh arrow when you are back online. Everything else works offline.
Open Score and tap Export summary and Cabrillo. Send the Cabrillo .log file to the web submission and keep the PDF for the club.
